Simon joins reigning Champions in the Fun Cup Championship with major backing from GRD Lifts and Engineering.

17/03/2024

We are delighted to announce that Simon will be joining the reigning Fun Cup champions, Team Olympian, for the Fun Cup Endurance Championship, marking a significant move in 2024.

Joining the experienced drivers Chris and Riley whilst running under the works JPR team who ran the top 3 championship cars in 2023 and have years of experience working on and running championship winning cars.

A lot of work has been done over the winter to make the deal possible and we can now focus on retaining the title in what looks to be one of the most competitive seasons in Fun Cup history.

“I would like to thank Chris Dovell and the Olympian team for his time, patience and ultimately the decision to bring me in. It was a no brainer from the moment the idea was floated. Last year was my first season in Fun Cup with the 103 Axiametrics / Team GRD and I learnt so much in a small amount of time. I would like to thank Chris Wetherill for making last season a success and for his support in my move across to Team Olympian”

2024 also sees us enter our 3rd season with main partner, GRD Lifts and Engineering and we will see the car in their colours and livery for the upcoming season.

None of this is possible with the support of my partners below, who once again continue to be part of our journey.
